We sail with a mixed crew, competitive
when racing with safety always in mind
but still not forgetting to enjoy ourselves.
We are not a professional yacht, so

forget the macho image

We are offshore sailors, inshore racers

and onshore players!

We try to maintain the best traditions at
sea. We’ve been known to serve roast
beef and Yorkshire pudding on a Fastnet

Race. Standards must be maintained.

Programme (the action)
This year, 2008 includes a mixture of
racing, cruising and training. The crew
numbers are 6-8 or 9 when racing and

2-6 cruising. Experience is required.

You will note that where there are
Alternative Events listed, this allows for
flexibility in cases of bad weather. Final

decisions would be made 2/3 days prior.

It is appreciated that commitment is
difficult with today’s pressures, so
please let us know early which dates are
of interest and of your experience. This
will help us to make up compatible crews

from all our friends.

Special crew requirement this year is for
a couple of experienced foredeckers -
any volunteers?

General Info
Some practical notes. Event expenses
only are shared. This covers food, stores
fuel etc. Personal insurance is your own
responsibility. Remember Passport and
Euros when going foreign. Space and
weight are important, so minimum gear
please.
